We’re Getting a “The Santa Clause” TV Show with Tim Allen This Christmas

A Christmas miracle.

Tim Allen has been with us through decades of Christmases since he first transformed into Santa Claus in 1994.

The holiday season classic, The Santa Clause, follows an ordinary bloke named Scott who accidentally causes Saint Nick to fall off his roof on Christmas Eve. Poor Scotty has to go and finish the job for him, travelling to the North Pole with his son—and wholesomeness ensues.

Full of jingles, elves, reindeers, presents and some tear-jerking moments, it’s everything you want and need from a Christmas flick. And while ‘tis not yet the season, news of another instalment in the series has got us hyped.

Following The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3, we’re getting a Disney+ show called The Santa Clauses.

Of course, Tim Allen has returned to the titular role—because who else could?

The trailer appears to show Scott/Santa turning 65 and having a bit of an xmas-tential crisis. He realises he needs to find a Santa replacement.

The first two episodes will be on Disney+ on 16 November. Plenty of time to get into the Christmas spirit.
