The New iOS 11 Comes Out Today But It's a Mammoth of an Update

If you want to get all the new features, you're gonna have to make some room.

Apple has released the new iOS 11 and it's a whopping 2.04 gigabytes, which is going to be a nightmare for anyone who is already struggling with space issues. 

Some of the cool new features include a newly-designed and customisable control centre, fun messaging features with iMessage, and a do-not-disturb feature for driving.

There's also a lot of horrifying features because we live in scary times. Apple has introduced screen recording, so if you're on FaceTime and doing anything a lil' bit embarrassing (like making horrid faces in your ugliest clothes, obviously), remember that if your frenemy is a bad person, they can record everything you do.

But before any of that can happen, you need the space to download the update in the first place.

If you're struggling to find space in your overcrowded phone, feel cosy at the thought that you're not alone.

But, luckily, one Twitter user pointed out that the new update ALSO converts all your photos to a lighter size. Huge if true.

even though iOS 11 is 2GB, after i downloaded & updated i gained 7 GB of space so y’all can chill out it’s a good thing
