The Internet Is Going Wild Over a Fake “Hercules” Live-Action Casting List

Jodie Comer as Megara? We’d love to see it.

Last month, Disney announced that a live-action Hercules was in the works. Naturally, people have been trying to predict the cast members ever since. In particular, there were a few popular choices for who should play Hercules and Megara.

Theo James, and Timothée Chalamet were both put forward to portray the titular character, while fans have suggested Ariana Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, Anna Kendrick or Zendaya would make a great Megara.

With fans busy creating their dream cast for the upcoming flick, it appears someone has gone the extra distance by making a fake cast list.

The cast list was seemingly first posted by the RuPaul's Drag Race Family Facebook account, and to be completely honest, it's actually rather exceptional.

According to the fake cast list, the internet's boyfriend Noah Centineo would play Hercules, and Killing Eve's Jodie Comer would portray Megara. Jeff Goldblum would step into the role of Hades, while Stanley Tucci would star as Hermes. To top it off, Danny DeVito would play Philoctetes.

The casting also sees Jennifer Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Keke Palmer, Coco Jones and Amber Riley as the Muses, and Ian McShane as Zeus, with Helen Mirren portraying Hera.

Obviously, this is the cast list of our dreams. However, the internet is still divided. Some people who believe the cast list is official are simply not accepting the possibility of Centineo playing Hercules.

Although, people are really on board with the idea of Comer playing Megara.

At this stage, Disney has not made any official comments about the cast list.

As reported by The Hollywood Reporter in April, Hercules is in early development, and it's unclear whether it will keep the musical elements.

It has not been confirmed when the live-action remake will be released.

For now, you'll just have to keep creating your dream cast lists.
