"The Big Bang Theory" Guys Made $96 Million This Past Financial Year

The four fellas from The Big Bang Theory collectively earned $96 million over the past twelve months, though "earned" is probably a generous term in this instance.

(Look, they all seem like totally nice guys, and the show is what it is... but $96 million? Even if it is the biggest program on television, that is too much.)

According to Forbes, four-time Emmy winner Jim Parsons - aka, Sheldon - is the highest paid TV actor of the 2015 financial year, pocketing a gargantuan $29 million alone.

(All of these figures are in US dollars by the way, so feel free to add 40 or so extra cents to every Washington, given our depressing exchange rate.)

Parsons co-star Johnny Galecki was close behind with $27 million.

Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar tied for third place - with Mark Harmon of NCIS (but forever in our hearts from that short stint on The West Wing) and Two and a Half Men's Ashton Kutcher - with $20 million pay packets a piece.

You can probably expect the Big Bang ladies to place pretty highly on the 'Top Paid Actresses' list when Forbes releases that in the near future.

But back to the boys.

Kutcher's other Man, Jon Cryer, and Ray Ramano both tied for seventh with grosses of $15 million in 2015. (Yes, Romano received all that cash from Everybody Loves Raymond... reruns.)

Australia's own Simon Baker, from The Mentalist, tied for ninth place with the recently deceased McDreamy of Grey's Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey. They both collected $12 million.

The gents of Modern Family took places 11 to 13 on Forbes' ranking, though, controversially, Ty Burrell sits atop his co-stars with $11.5 million. (Jesse Tyler Ferguson somehow receives $500,000 more than his colleagues Eric Stonestreet and Ed O'Neill, who each receive a relatively minuscule $10.5 million. And Stonestreet is the one with the Emmy.)

House of Cards' Kevin Spacey rounds out the top 15 with earnings of $9.5 million.
