The Swift Life? Taylor Swift Releases a Social Media App to Discuss All Things Swift

If you're a worshipper of Swiftism, you're in for a Swiftmas treat.

Want to use a social media app to follow every aspect of Taylor Swift's life? Want to interact with other fans who are as dedicated as you? The new Taylor has got you covered.

The idea isn't so different to those fan forums from yesteryear (remember those?) but it still reeks of narcissism, though I guess anyone in the spotlight has to have a pinch of that.

The app will essentially function like an Instagram solely for Swift content, so it's considerably less likely any haters will have the time to fill up the comment sections with little snake emojis (thanks to the Kimye reveal). It's also said to have Taymojis which are, you guessed it, Taylor Swift-related emojis.

Some of the YouTube comments read: "TAYLOR SWIFT IS THE ONLY ARTIST TO EVER MAKE AN APP NOT SO PEOPLE WILL TALK ABOUT HER AND BUY HER MERCH, BUT ACTUALLY TO JUST CONNECT WITH US AND GROW CLOSER WITH US ALL INDIVIDUALLY.... NAME ONE OTHER ARTIST WHO TRULY CARES THIS MUCH IM CRYING I LOVE HER MORE THAN ANYTHING" and "I am 100% READY FOR IT".

So, it does actually look like people will use this thing.

Unfortunately, it's only on iOS at the moment, so if you're an Android-using Swiftie, you'll have to wait a little longer.
