Taco Shells Are Now Made Out Of Fried Chicken In Trump’s America

‘Merica.

Though President-elect Donald J. Trump doesn’t take the oath of office until Friday, he’ll surely want to take credit for Taco Bell’s new abomination invention, which officially debuts on January 26.

It's a taco shell made entirely out of fried chicken.

The “Naked Chicken Chalupa” is made of all-white meat chicken and comes stuffed with lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese and avocado ranch.

The beast of a shell was first unveiled in select Taco Bell stores last year.

In an interview with Buzzfeed, Taco Bell’s senior manager of marketing Kat Garcia noted the overwhelming response from what sounds like especially deluded consumers.

“We were getting feedback like, ‘It’s so healthy. It’s so fresh’… That really surprised us because it’s fried chicken.”

Of course, Taco Bell hasn’t had a presence in Australia for more than a decade, so don’t expect to get a taste of this in the near future.

However, if you’d recently sworn off visiting the United States on account of a recent election result, you may want to start walking back some of your campaign promises…
