Australia's Biggest Fart Survey Reveals 66 Per Cent of Us Prefer to Let One Rip in the Change Rooms

The survey also revealed 33 per cent of us have let one free on public transport.
Ubisoft, the makers of new South Park game The Fractured But Whole, has revealed the results of Australia's largest (and hopefully last) fart survey.
And the results might blow you away.
The survey asked 1,000 respondents to outline their flatulence habits in the name of research. The results found 46 per cent of Australians actually enjoy farting and 35 per cent love the scent of their own smell.

If you ask anyone what their top ten most unpleasant experiences are, many might include being stuck in a confined space where someone has let their wind blow free. And yet, according to the results, 33 per cent of Australia's most inconsiderate humans have admitted to being most likely to release their bodily gases on public transport (buses and trains), while 36 per cent said they were more than happy to let it go in a car with company.
Sixty-six per cent of Australians said they were most comfortable farting in the change room, which makes a lot of sense because change rooms always smell super funky.

Ubisoft released the results to promote South Park: The Fractured But Whole, which, you guessed it, is all about farting. Keeping in the spirit, Ubisoft has released a demo for the VR smell experience called Nosulus Rift.
In theory, Nosulus Rift emulates the smell of real-life farts, so that each time your character farts in-game, a fart smell will be released in the headset. We are truly living in the future.
WARNING: BARE BUTT CHEEKS AHEAD.
Anyway, I'm not sure we are better off as a species for knowing those statistics and learning about Nosulus Rift, but hey, here we are.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available from October 17 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One & Windows PC.
