Student Edge Member Kiera Tells Us What Living With Endometriosis Is Really Like

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

Throughout March, women’s health organisations have been spreading awareness about endometriosis, a disorder in which the tissue similar to the lining of the uterus—the endometrium—grows outside the uterus.

According to Endometriosis Australia more than 830,000 (11 per cent) of women, non-binary and transgender individuals suffer from endometriosis at some point in their life, with the disorder often starting in teenage years.

So, before March comes to an end, we sat down with Student Edge member and Endometriosis WA board member, Kiera Collier, to tell us about her experience with the condition and what she'd like other people to know about living with endometriosis.
