“Stranger Things” Will Probably Finish With Season Four, So Savour It While You Can

Did you bug Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer to hurry up and finish Season Two? Careful what you wish for.

In an interview with Vulture, the seemingly burnt-out Duffer brothers have revealed they’ve got an end date in mind for their hit Netflix series.

First, the good news: Season Three is guaranteed.

Now, the bad news: All going to plan, they’ll wrap up the show with Season Four.

“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” Ross said, with Vulture noting that its child stars will probably be getting ready for university by then.

“They’re going to have to get the f*** out of this town!" he added.

“I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year,” Matt chimed in.

Though they aren’t dropping many details ahead of the show’s October 27 launch, the Duffers promise a focus on Will, recently returned from the Upside Down, and “no more kids on bikes”.

As for life after Stranger Things, the brothers Duffer have an idea for a big screen sci-fi blockbuster.

The 33-year-old duo is not long for the world of television. Savour your precious few remaining Stranger Things episodes, as if they were lines of Barb’s dialogue.
