“Stranger Things” Has Got a Season Two Halloween Date and Things Are Looking Pretty Apocalyptic

Season two of Stranger Things will hit up our Netflix accounts on October 27, just in time for your ~spooky~ Halloween plans.

While the main arc of season one has been resolved (which involved getting Will back from the Upside Down, if you've forgotten), it looks like something even creepier has taken to the little Indiana town of Hawkins.

The upcoming season takes place in 1984, a year after the first season's events, where a "bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived."

The show's executive producer, Shawn Levy, has told The Hollywood Reporter that people who thought the first season was scary could have trouble watching this one.

"You're going to be more scared by Season Two," he said.

"But again, the best thing I can tell you is that through it all, it's got the best heart. But it is, cinematically and budgetary, it's definitely more ambitious."

And if you're wondering, there's still no chance that Barb will finally get any real sense of justice. As a consolation, Levy has said that they will tie up some loose ends surrounding her disappearance.
