Music Snobs, Rejoice! Spotify Lets You Show Off With "Found Them First" Feature

Music snobs, rejoice!

Spotify has introduced a nifty new feature called “Found Them First”, which allows you to show off which major artists you were listening to before they were cool (meaning: popular).

You can learn if you were ahead of the curve with now supernova-ing singers The Weeknd, Sam Smith or Ellie Goulding (provided you streamed them on Spotify.

Handily, Spotify also lets you share the results on social media, allowing for easy shaming of less “with it” friends and colleagues.

This writer was pretty proud of his discoveries.

Well, for the most part.

Anyway, this has been a really fun exercise and effective way of reminding us that Spotify is still very much a thing (even in this post Apple Music world). Try "Found Them First" here.
