Spider-Man Will Take on All His Classic Enemies in the Upcoming PS4 Game

Spider-Man's got a lot of enemies in this upcoming PlayStation game.

The long-awaited Spider-Man game is due in just months but we're still not entirely sure what the story will entail, aside from Spidey taking down some bad guys.

Thankfully, PlayStation has released a story trailer to give us a better idea of what journey the very aesthetic release will take us on.

As the trailer shows, it seems like the whole world is against Spider-Man. Tough break.

Set in New York City, the corrupt Mayor Norman Osburn is running for re-election and hires a group of merciless mercenaries, led by Silver Sable, to take out an apparent threat. That threat, of course, is none other than Spider-Man.

Along the way, the red-costumed hero will have to take on other famous foes such as Electro, Scorpion, Vulture, Rhino and Mister Negative.

Spider-Man will be released on PS4 only on 7 September.
