Spider-Man Is Apparently Team Iron Man In The New "Captain America: Civil War" Trailer

“Hey everyone.”

Because apparently the cast of Captain America: Civil War didn’t have quite enough superheroes to satiate fans, a new trailer confirms that, yes, Spider-Man is getting involved in the brouhaha too.

The film – which will also debut Chadwick Boseman’s much more awesome-looking Black Panther – is especially notable for being the first Marvel Studios production to feature the famed web-slinger. (Sony have long held exclusive rights to Peter Parker’s alter ego, but their recent, despised efforts with Andrew Garfield encouraged them to team up with the Disney-owned Marvel Studios for this ensemble flick, before launching his own solo movie next year.)

Check Tom Holland out as Spidey at the very, very end of this new teaser.

Oh, wait, that's just the video for "Bad Blood". Here's the real thing.

Anyway, this is the Marvel movie in which the Avengers all start roughhousing when they disagree over a Tony Stark-led initiative to enforce superhero registration. Spidey, turns out, is on Iron Man’s side. (Tony endearingly calls the teen newcomer “Underoos”.)

Captain America: Civil War arrives in cinemas this May, with standalone Spider-Man and Black Panther films to follow in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Then, expect The Avengers: Infinity War – Part One later in 2018, with Part 2 coming in 2019. There will also be Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Ant-Man and The Wasp and Thor: Ragnarok all released during this time. Not to mention all the DC adaptations on Warner Bros’ slate. Oh, and Fox will probably pump out some more Deadpools too. Basically, this is your life now.
