Thor Meets the Guardians of the Galaxy In the Stacked Trailer for "Avengers: Infinity War"

Also: Captain America has a beard now. It works for him!

While DC try to make a Cyborg/Flash friendship happen, Marvel has combined the forces of its dozens of superheroes for Avengers: Infinity War.

In a newly-released teaser, we finally get to see what it looks like when a bearded Captain America teams up with Black Panther, the Hulk, Black Widow and Iron Man, or how a meeting between Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy might exactly go down.

And though this all sounds like an incredible excursion into the ultimate toybox, Infinity War—directed by Joe and Anthony Russo—isn’t just throwing the Marvel characters together for funsies.

As we see in the teaser, they’ve gotta bring down Thanos, Josh Brolin’s CGI’d intergalactic warmonger, who has been slowly collecting those darn Infinity Stones on his path to end our universe.

(CGI? Here’s hoping it’s not another Steppenwolf situation.)

Behold, the enormousness.

As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige alluded to earlier in the week, Infinity War might indeed end with the deaths of some of your favourite Avengers.

But fear not: There are at least another 20 Marvel movies in the pipeline, so expect plenty of newbies to take their place in the lineup.
