Captain America Wails On Iron Man In The Trailer For Marvel's "Civil War"

Captain America must really like that Bucky dude.

In the just-released trailer for Captain America: Civil War (otherwise known as Captain America 3 or The Avengers 2.5), good ol' Cap (Chris Evans) turns his back on fellow Avengers Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) when the Government tries to introduce a kind of 'superhero registration' act, all thanks to the time his friend Bucky Barnes ran amok as the Winter Soldier.

Nice one, Bucky.

As the first official film of Marvel's Phase 3, Civil War will see the introduction of new heroes like Black Panther (glimpsed all-too briefly here) and Spider-Man (fresh to the MCU, having been freed from Andrew Garfield's clutches).

The trailer, however, focuses more on the Captain's increasing suspicion of his home country. (You know, the one he shares a name with.)

Still, there's plenty of explosive, Avenger-on-Avenger footage in here to get you excited for the impending fracas.

You have until April 2016 to collect yourself.
