Sorry, But Captain America Will Probably Die in "Avengers 4"

Unless Captain America decides to just retire and become a lumberjack?

After the *ahem* traumatic events of Avengers: Infinity War, we felt safe in knowing that Captain America and the remaining survivors might band together and save the world from further disaster.

But it appears that it could all come at a cost after Chris Evans (AKA Cap'n 'Murica) took to Twitter to publish a tribute to his character.

Officially wrapped on Avengers 4. It was an emotional day to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.

If Chris Evans is leaving Marvel that means Steve Rogers and Captain America are too? Given that superheroes don't usually retire, we're betting (and so is everyone else) this means the end for the loveable superhero.

People still reeling from the shock of the last Avengers movie were sent straight back into it.

It finally hit me. Chris Evans has said goodbye to Steve rogers. Captain America’s story is ending. Steverogerspleasedontgoimissyou

Thank you Chris for playing Steve Rogers with so much passion. We fell in love with you, and Steve. We will miss you, cap. pic.twitter.com/b25fHgkPk8

Let's see where this emotional journey takes us when the fourth Avengers film is released next April.
