Sophie Monk Will Host "Love Island", So Schedule It In

Now she's helping others find "love".
Everyone's favourite celebrity bogan (aside from Kath and Kim, obviously) Sophie Monk has revealed she will be hosting Channel 9's upcoming Love Island.
Monk was the obvious choice after her popular stint finding her own love on this year's The Bachelorette.
If you haven't heard about Love Island before, you could at least probably guess that it's a reality show about "love".
The contestants, who are coincidentally looking for this thing called love, rock up to an island in Spain with a bunch of other randoms and try to survive the drama that will inevitably unfold.
Three seasons of the concept have already been screened in the U.K. with a generous serving of controversy.
It's described as Big Brother meets The Bachelor but to be honest, it sounds more like Survivor meets Ex on the Beach to me.
Even Sophie Monk described it to Kylie Sandilands as being a bit of boink-fest.
"Not me," Monk explained to Sandilands. "I'm going to be the classiest one on there."
There's no exact date for when the show will air but considering it hasn't even been filmed yet, expect it to grace/tarnish our television screens sometime next year.
