Shannon Noll Arrested For Alleged Strip Club Assault

Welp, Shannon Noll is back in the news, and this time, not for meme-related reasons.

The former Australian Idol runner-up was arrested in Adelaide last night and charged with two counts of assault, 7 News reports.

He was taken into custody outside of the Crazy Horse strip club after an alleged incident with the club’s bouncer.

Noll was in South Australia having performed at a Mannum music festival.

A witness to the incident told Nine News that Noll had been kicked out of the club before the alleged assault took place.

“He got really aggressive, and kept being like ‘I’m Shannon Noll, let me back into the Crazy Horse’,” claimed the witness.

Twitter, of course, had jokes.

Shannon Noll should never be kicked out of a strip club in Australia no matter how drunk he is, that should be in the Constitution

Seriously, Shannon Noll getting arrested in front of a strip club in Adelaide is the most Shannon Noll story I've ever heard 🤣 #ShannonNoll

The upside to Shannon Noll being arrested outside the Crazy Horse is now we have a decent option if they change the date of Australia Day.

His manager has confirmed the rest of Noll's tour dates "are going ahead as planned."

Noll is yet to comment on the incident via his Twitter account, but you better believe we’re keeping a close eye on it, especially considering some of the wisdom it has yielded in the past:

Pretty eventful Christmas morning so far. Saw a big spider that looked like a Funnel Web, then had to kill a brown snake in the yard #Straya
