50 Teens Reportedly Brawled In A Parramatta Street Because One Insulted Another's Mother

Not cool.

A 50-person brawl spilled into the streets of Parramatta yesterday, in a scene witnesses are yet to describe as resembling the fight scene from The Matrix Reloaded (though they totally should).

Daily Telegraph, the skirmish occurred around 5:10pm on Tuesday evening and involved dozens of youths.

Traffic stopped as the melee moved from the sidewalk to the middle of O'Connell Street (during peak-hour, no less).

“Police immediately attended and spoke to a number of teenage males, before dispersing the crowd,” NSW Police said in a statement.

There were no injuries reported and no arrests made.

Seven News published footage of the showdown, which apparently began when one student insulted another about his mother being admitted to hospital.

Yikes.
