Thanks, Reddit: The "Shake It Off" Vid Now Co-Stars Rick And Morty, Deadpool, Hillary Clinton And Donald Trump

Taylor Swift could drop a new album any day now, but in the meantime, will a recut music video of "Shake It Off" featuring the animated cast of Rick and Morty, along with Dave Chappelle and Deadpool do?

The members of the High Quality GIFs subreddit have used their superpowers (ceaseless patience; an awareness of popular memes) to reinvent Swift's music video. Seventeen artists spent 200 hours over three weeks to insert as many new visual jokes as possible, which is one way to spend your time.

They've included pretty much every pop culture figure and meme you could imagine, and a few you probably forgot about: Drake's "Hotline Bling" dance, Dr. Zoidberg, Miley Cyrus on a wrecking ball, the disembodied heads of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, Ace Ventura, the guy in the cowboy hat from the "Gangnam Style" clip... we could go on, but it's gonna be hard to top that last one.

Unfortunately, the clip keeps getting taken down because of those pesky copyright laws. So, the High Quality GIFs team have removed the music; meaning, you'll need to "sync it up" (get it?) with the original video to absorb the full experience. It's worth all the pausing and unpausing. Good luck.
