Sasha Obama Missed Her Dad’s Final Presidential Speech Because Of An Exam The Next Morning

All of your exam excuses are now meaningless.

President Barack Obama made his teary farewell to America on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning in Australia), but only FLOTUS Michelle Obama and daughter Malia were present from his fam.

Needless to say, the denizens of social media were puzzled as to why Sasha didn’t make the trip to Chicago for one of the most significant public events in her dad’s eight-year tenure as Prez.

There were theories.

CBS News correspondent Mark Knoller got the scoop on Sasha's whereabouts, per a White House official: she had to stay in Washington for an exam the following morning.

An exam.

With this one act, Sasha has now ruined literally any possible excuse you may have been saving for an upcoming exam. If she can miss her father–the President–tying a ribbon around his Presidency and steeling the nation for the era of Trump, just to ensure she gets a good night sleep before an exam, the prospect of anyone else ever getting an extension now seems impossible.
