Rihanna Is Joining That All-Female Remake Of “Ocean’s Eleven” (Retitled “Ocean’s Ocho”)

Proving that eight women can do the job of eleven men, Warner Bros has officially announced their all-female heist flick will be called Ocean’s Ocho.

The picture, which has long been rumoured but never made official, has set Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett for the leading roles.

They’ll be joined by Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling. All these names have been attached to this dream project for some time now.

But those of you who can count will recognise that Sandy, Cate, Anne, Helena and Mindy only makes five.

Thankfully, the Hollywood Reporter has thrown a few more names into the pile: Rihanna (yes, that Rihanna) and Awkwafina (from Bad Neighbours 2).

But still, that’s just seven, meaning one space remains before the Ocho is filled. Perhaps director Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) can complete the trifecta of single-named actress/ rappers by hiring Kreayshawn.

Ocean’s Ocho begins filming this October in New York.

We couldn’t be more in, with or without Kreayshawn.
