While Azealia Banks was fruitlessly feuding with Rihanna and posting her mobile number to Instagram, RiRi was reacting by reminding the world she has a squad that is not to be trifled with.

Yesterday, Rihanna shared the first official image from Ocean’s 8 to social media, featuring (*deep breath*) Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Awkwafina, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson and RiRi herself in a variety of awe-inspiring coats and wigs.

The octet, taking over for George Clooney’s all-male criminal posse, was previously snapped hanging out in this very train carriage by paparazzi. Now, we realise, they wanted to get caught. It was their plan all along!

If you're wondering how this remake/sequel connects to Steven Soderbergh's last crack (itself a remake of the Rat Pack's original), Sandy Bullock is playing Danny Ocean's sister, Debbie Ocean.

Ocean’s 8, directed by Gary Ross, doesn’t hit cinemas until the middle of 2018, so this photo will have to satisfy your appetite for utter ferocity until that time.
