Reddit Finds Proof That Matthew McConaughey Is Hundreds Of Years Old

Time really is a flat circle.

Nicholas Cage has long fielded accusations that he’s actually an ancient vampire (on account of a lookalike that surfaced in a photo from 1870).

And yet, a truly immortal actor has sneakily evaded questioning.

That all ends thanks to a recent discovery by Reddit user EmberRainbow, who yesterday shared a picture of his great, great grandfather… that looks uncannily like Matthew McConaughey.

Though the McConaughey we know and love does not have quite the same moustache – or, let’s face it, monobrow – the similarities between the two are undeniable.

Is EmberRainbow perhaps a distant relative of the Interstellar star? Is he indeed the great, great grandchild of an ageless Matthew McConaughey? Or is he just really good at Photoshop.

We may never know. Reddit user mordeci00 put it best: “That's what I love about people in old photographs, man. I get older, they stay the same age.”
