Prince Joined Instagram, Renamed It “Princetagram” And Immediately Uploaded Almost 100 Photos

The Purple One cares not for the proprietary of social media platforms.

Over the weekend, His Royal Princeness signed up for an Instagram account and, in a move that flagrantly disregards the creative copyright of the photo sharing service, rechristened it 'Princetagram'. (Ironic for a dude who has spent much of the last decade policing the misappropriation of his music online.)

Whatever, we like Princetagram better anyway.

As Mashable points out, Prince has a lovesexy-hatesexy relationship with the internet, going so far as to delete his Twitter and Facebook account in 2014. (He also briefly held an Instagram account during this time too.)

But that’s all over now. Since re-joining the ‘Gram, Prince has uploaded close to 100 photos in just three days. He even included a short snippet of music (in a video that suggests he is his own desktop wallpaper.)

He also reminded everyone how much he loves that Dave Chappelle impression of him.

So this is what it feels like… when doves cry.
