Halsey Hits Back at Slut-Shamer: “A Woman Can Be Multi Dimensional”

Halsey is having a hell of a year, and she isn’t going to let some random dude with a fade on Instagram ruin it.

Yesterday, the “Strangers” singer posted a pic of her new Playboy magazine cover to social media, calling herself the “not-so-covered cover girl”.

This was enough to inspire one Instagrammer to offer his two cents, despite the fact that no such request had been made by absolutely anyone.

“You are a feminist but you flash your boobs in Playboy magazine”, he commented, followed by the most devastating of sarcastic emojis: the thinking face. (Does any of this sound familiar, by the way?)

But if you thought that would put Halsey in her place, you don’t know Halsey.

She replied with her own sarcastic comment: “yeah it’s crazy. I can show my tits in Playboy, perform at the Nobel Peace, speak at the Planned Parenthood Gala with Hillary Clinton, shake my ass on 300 stages, give a speech at the United Nations, do 150 shots of tequila, get a #1 album, and march in the streets of DC all in just ONE year!!!!”

The devastation to the user (who we have decided not to name) did not end there. Halsey wrapped up her point with a “Newsflash”: “A woman can be multi dimensional. #WeAreNotJustOneThing”

The user has not posted to Instagram for three days, leading us to the conclusion that Halsey's Instagram truth-telling was so brutal, it retroactively ruined the prior 72 hours of his life.

That is some transdimensional fire.
