Playboy Model Faces Jail Time For Body-Shaming Nude Snapchat Shot

Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers could spend six months behind bars for a mean-spirited Snapchat image, which hopefully acts as a reminder to all that Snaps never die.

Recently, Mathers secretly photographed an older woman taking a shower in her gym, uploading it to her Snapchat with the caption: “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”

Of course, she probably wishes the world hadn’t seen it, now that the photographed woman – in her 70s – has told the LAPD she wants Mathers to “feel the force of the law”. (The post also cost Mathers her job at Los Angeles radio station KLOS.)

According to TMZ, the woman is eager to cooperate with the police department, even if it means testifying against Mathers in court.

If Mathers is charged, it’ll likely be for Dissemination of Private Images, a misdemeanour that carries a six-month jail term.

An entertainment lawyer has also estimated that the victim could receive up to $US1 million in damages if she sues, thanks to California’s recently instituted “revenge porn” laws.

Mathers’ attorney has told The Wrap that “Dani… never tried to hurt anyone at any time and certainly never tried to break the law.”

The model has not commented on the recent development. In fact, her last Twitter post came soon after she received widespread criticism for the instigating Snap.
