Pizza Hut Is Giving Away Free Pizzas For Every Medal Australia Wins At the Olympics

Carn Australia, do it for my belly!

The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games have officially kicked off this week (a year late) and to celebrate Australia’s success at the Games, Pizza Hut are giving away free pizza every time an Aussie wins a medal.

To start with, from 4pm AEST today Pizza Hut are putting up 5,000 free pizza vouchers online for anyone to claim just in time for the Opening Ceremony which kicks off tonight at 9pm AEST.

From there, the generosity of Pizza Hut gets bigger ‘cos any time an Aussie wins a medal, the pizza franchise will be adding free pizzas to claim the following day.

For every bronze medal we win, there will be 200 free pizzas up for grabs. If an Aussie wins a silver medal, that turns into 500 free pizza pies. Finally, for every gold medal Australia wins, Pizza Hut will give away 1,000 free pizzas.

Seriously, I’ve never wanted Australia to win gold more than this Olympics.

Even if Australia doesn’t win a medal though, Pizza Hut are going to giveaway 1,000 free pizzas every day from the 23 July to the 8 Aug. So, we’re legit guaranteed 1,000 free pizzas of meat and cheesy (or veg) goodness per day at a minimum.

Finally, Pizza Hut have hidden a Golden Ticket inside the online vouchers that will give one lucky person free pizza for an entire year. Please God, let it be me.

To claim your free pizza pie, all you have to do is visit their giveaway page here but it’s a first-in-best-dressed situation, so time to unleash your inner Usain Bolt (quality Olympic humour right there).

The pizza giveaway bonanza ends on the same day as the Closing Ceremony where Pizza Hut are giving away another 5,000 pizzas in case you haven’t already had enough pizza already.

Bon appetit my pizza loving friends!
