Pink Cancels Another Sydney Show Due to Gastro

Alecia Moore has given Australia so much, the least we can do is give her the night off.

Pink has had to cancel this evening’s live performance in Sydney, having been hospitalised twice since Sunday and diagnosed with "a gastric virus", according to promoter Live Nation.

"On medical advice Pink remained in hospital overnight, continuing her treatment and recovery," they added.

"She will be reassessed by her doctors today."

Unfortunately, punters shouldn’t hold out hope that Pink will be back up and about doing her acrobatic musical arts this evening. Anyone who’s had a gastric virus—aka gastro—already knows, she’s gonna need a few days to herself.

Pink previously cancelled her Friday night gig at Qudos Bank Arena, making up for it on Saturday. She was also forced to cancel last night’s performance, with word getting out as doors were meant to open.

Ticketholders to the 7 August show will be able to get a refund via the ticket agent. However, at this time, the show has simply been postponed, so if you hold onto your ticket—and wait patiently—Live Nation will let you know when you can next see Pink, in fighting-fit form.

She has three more gigs set for Sydney, on 9, 11 and 12 August, before she moves onto Brisbane, returns to Sydney for a couple dates and finishes the Aussie tour in Melbourne at the end of the month.
