People Are Painting Their Dogs Like Pikachu Because Of Pokémon Go

Woof.

We’ve been dutifully detailing the varying, dangerous stages of Pokémon Go obsession over the past few weeks.

And yet, none of us were truly prepared for disturbing new footage of a yellow-painted Pomeranian, made to resemble Pikachu.

In the below clip, posted to Facebook, you can see what happens when an aspiring trainer can no longer differentiate reality from virtual reality, and takes it out on their dog.

The dog seems mostly happy with his new dye-job, so maybe we can be okay with it too?

The trouble is... they're not alone.
