"Panini" Video Shows Dystopia Where Lil Nas X Is Everywhere; Seems Kinda Nice Actually

Technically, this is already our life.

Lil Nas X, who is an international treasure that must be protected at all costs, knows he’s been oversaturated these past few months thanks to the chart-domination of "Old Town Road".

So, for the very expensive-seeming video to his latest single, "Panini", he’s depicting a Blade Runner-esque future in which he is quite literally inescapable, appearing on billboard advertisements, as pop-up holograms, on in-flight entertainment, and even in the streets with a roaming band of robot backup dancers.

That’s bad news for Disney star Skai Jackson, who’s trying to evade Lil Nas X’s infectious melodies.

But it’s great news for the rest of us, who would very much like Lil Nas X to keep on thriving, whether that means releasing delightful country-hip hop tunes that sample NIN and Nirvana, or schooling, say, Kevin Hart on why it’s actually very cool and important that he came out as gay.
