Nine Newsreader Tells Colleague To “Go And Grab A Jacket” After Live Wardrobe Mishap

Two reporters were caught on tape bickering about their similar choice of all-white outfits for a Nine News Now "Chatroom" segment.
The clip, which has since gone viral, features presenter Amber Sherlock and sports reporter Julie Snook. “Live TV can be a pretty stressful beast,” Amber said in a statement to 9Honey. She admits that she might have overacted, just a tad.
“As anyone knows, it’s never much fun rocking up to work or to a party in the same outfit as one of your colleagues or friends.” (I mean, she’s not wrong there.)
Despite both women making light of their scuffle now, it didn’t stop social media users from blasting the presenter. Amber’s public Twitter and Instagram accounts were locked this morning for a brief period; she has since unlocked both accounts, but hasn’t addressed the controversy on her profiles – yet.
Australian TV at its finest. Can't have all three presenters wearing white. https://t.co/rLVoJNKHX7

“What can I say? Amber and I just really love white!” Julie told 9Honey. “Amber and I are good friends and I really enjoy working with her, News is a fact moving environment and sometimes these things happen.”
Despite the chaos and frenzy, when it was lights, camera action: all three switched on their game faces.

That’s showbiz, folks.
