Nicki Minaj Adds Controversial "FEFE" to "Queen", Threatens to Re-Edit More Album Tracks

Nicki Minaj has pulled a Kanye, updating her already-released album Queen with a new track.
Except, the track will already be pretty familiar to Nicki’s fans.
After surprise-dropping the long-awaited album on Friday, she has today decided to chuck on her high-charting collaboration with 6ix9ine, "FEFE".
For those listening on Spotify and Apple Music, the track can be found in 20th position, after "Inspirations Outro", which probably makes more sense as an album closer, but whatever.
All weekend, Nicki’s been threatening to re-edit and re-release Queen, expressing disappointment with her verses on "Chun Swae" and the hook on opener "Ganga Burns" (which she also revealed has a typo in the title).
"FEFE" was just one of Nicki’s recent singles that didn’t initially make the final cut of Queen. "Barbie Tingz", "No Frauds", "Changed It" and "Regret In Your Tears" were also left off the version released last week—though, given the precedent she’s setting today, they could eventually return.
It makes smart business sense to tack popular singles onto albums and to make those albums as long as humanly possible. After all: more streams means more royalties. Drake figured that out a long time ago. Besides making his records interminably long, he smartly added "Hotline Bling" to the tail-end of Views back in 2016, meaning the first-week sales of the album would also include the historical streams of his 2015 viral hit.
Now, it seems like Queen’s sales will be goosed by the success of "FEFE" too.
However, by continuing to align herself with 6ix9ine, Nicki might be setting herself up for further controversy. Earlier this month, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office requested 6ix9ine (aka Daniel Hernandez) receive a one to three-year prison sentence for pleading guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance. He’s been arrested multiple times since entering into a plea agreement in 2015.
