In honour of the celebrations that have followed America’s decision to legalise gay marriage across its fifty states, revisit a similar moment of jubilation from New Zealand.

Same-sex marriage was legalised by our Kiwi cousins on the 19th of August, 2013, making it the first nation in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve marriage equality.
