New "Fall Guys" Patch Will Make the Game Harder for Yellow Team (JK, We Think)

Your new favourite life-consuming obsession, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, is getting a series of fixes this week, courtesy of the impending "Spicy Hot Fix" update.

These patches, based on the most requested changes, are designed to keep you hooked on the last-man-standing game that has no doubt already replaced family, education, religion, fitness, sustenance and every other motivation in life as your number one priority.

(Seriously though, gaming addiction is real, so be healthy, team go for a walk sometime.)

Courtesy of the Fall Guys twitter account, we know that the patch will fix the "5 most frequent crashes" of the game, and also add controller options for the PS4.

It will also tweak the round selection algorithm to only select a Team game if team sizes can be equal.

They will also adjust the Slime Climb level, so that players can no longer grab some of the moving obstacles, and update the camera angles and geometry of Jump Showdown (to prevent a gameplay exploit).

The tweet also cheekily included a reference at the end that the patch "removed move speed nerf from Yellow Team (Don’t post this one)", suggesting even more pain for the already maligned Yellow Teamers.

They’re probably kidding, but then again, the entire game is designed to provoke you, via annoyance, into wanting to overcome a series of very silly obstacles. We can’t wait to be frustrated by this as well!

Here’s the full list of (real) changes:

• Tweaked round selection algorithm to select a Team game only if the team sizes can be equal
• Party members are now sorted first in Spectator mode
• Slime Climb: players can no longer grab some of the moving obstacles
• Jump Showdown: changed geometry to prevent a gameplay exploit
• Jump Showdown: fixed camera auto-panning
• Improved in-game Store purchase dialog to avoid accidental selections
• Addressed the top 5 most frequent crashes
• Visual fixes to some of the outfits
• Added option to change the jump button binding for Japan
• Trophy/Achievement names and descriptions are now correctly displayed in all supported languages

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available on PS4 and PC.
