Get Hyped for These New Games Releasing in 2023

Have your G-Fuel at the ready.

This year in gaming will be huge – there’ll be new worlds to visit old stories to relive, incredible remakes and long-awaited sequels to sink our teeth into.

Whether you play on console or are a part of the “PC Master Race”, here are the first of many titles releasing this year you should start saving for.

Forspoken.

(PlayStation 5/PC) – 24 January.

Discover the land of Athia with Frey – a young New Yorker who’s been whisked away into a magical world overrun with monsters and ruled by evil sorceresses. Accompanied by a sentient bracelet, you learn to master your newfound magical abilities to parkour through a beautiful open world and fight creatures in a journey to return home.

Hogwarts Legacy.

(PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PC) – 10 February-July 25.

Experience the magic of Hogwarts in the 1800s in this open-world action RPG. You’re in control of forging your own journey as a witch or wizard – explore the wizarding world, learn spells, brew potions and more as you live out your Hogwarts student dreams. (This game will have a staggered releases depending on what platform you play on).

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

(PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC) – 17 March.

Set five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, continue Cal Kestis’ journey as a Jedi Knight in a galaxy far, far away. Check out the latest trailer that premiered at last year’s Game Awards.

Resident Evil 4.

(PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PC) – 24 March.

The original 2005 Resident Evil 4 game is receiving the beautiful remake treatment Capcom has given to previous titles Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. Set several years after the devastating events in Raccoon City, you’ll play as Leon S. Kennedy on his quest to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

(Nintendo Switch) – 12 May.

The highly-anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is finally releasing this year.  Nintendo have been pretty hush-hush on what Tears of the Kingdom is about so far, but based on the trailer it will no doubt look as breathtaking as its predecessor.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

(PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, PC) – 26 May.

Iconic supervillains Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark take the stage in this action-adventure third person shooter, made by the creators of the Batman: Arkham series. This game will also be the late Kevin Conroy’s role final performance as Batman, after he unfortunately passed away in November.
