Miley Cyrus Wades Into The "Bad Blood" Debate; Will Taylor Bite?

Just as calm fell over the land, a renegade warrior has roared to life, plunging headfirst into the Cold War between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

Imperator Furiosa Miley Cyrus has taken aim at the media for portraying her as a bad role model on account of her sexually-charged music and live performances, noting the hypocrisy in letting Swifty off the hook when she causes mass carnage in her “Bad Blood” music video.

(Yes, the same video that takes aim at frenemy Katy Perry, and that Nicki Minaj believes robbed her of a deserved Best Video VMA nomination. It’s been an eventful few months.)

Speaking to Marie Claire, Cyrus remarked, “I don't get the violence revenge thing. That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns.”

We can only hope that, this time, Swift sees Cyrus’ quotes as more of an attack on the warped media perception of female artists who are trying to express themselves creatively, only to be judged on account of how much of an inspiration they are to young fans.

Seriously. Not even Taylor can fight a war on two fronts. And frankly, we’re not too keen to see it. Now a collaboration? That we'd like.
