Would You Order Kale Off The McDonald's Menu?

You can run but you can't hide from kale, with reports suggesting the leafy superfood could soon be found inside your precious Big Macs.
A Wall Street firm is suggesting McDonald's could begin sneaking kale onto their menu in "the not-too-distant future."
As reported by CNN, Janney Capital Markets has an industry source indicating McDonald's plan to "roll out kale as an ingredient in its restaurants," most likely in salads and smoothies.
"McDonald's clearly aims to raise consumers' perception of the quality of its food. Adding kale to the menu in some way could help be a step in this direction," said Janney analyst Mark Kalinowski.
That Kalinowski practically has 'kale' in his name has us wondering if he's secretly working for the major kale lobby. (He's probably not.)
Interestingly, just this year McDonald's debuted an ad that shouted from the rooftops how the iceberg lettuce in their burgers' would "never be kale."
But that was before new CEO Steve Easterbrook took over.
The company may soon have to, literally, eat those words.
