Louis Tomlinson Set His Fans On an Australian Radio Host Who Insulted Him

Is it time to unstan Louis permanently?

Some fandoms in recent years have gotten a bit out of hand. For instance, there was a collective 'tut' hurled at some of the Rick & Morty fandom for abusing innocent McDonald's workers. Some also cringed at Swifties for booing her when she didn't acknowledge them after they crashed her friend's wedding.

But for the most part, the idols at the centre of this fandom try their best to tell the fans to relax their intense stanning, because they're humans after all.

Then there's Louis Tomlinson.

After an Australian radio host, Ash London, jokingly called him the least favourite member of 1D (probably true) and described him as "not Harry Styles" and having "ratty facial hair", Tomlinson took to Twitter with a tweet that seemed to invite his crazed fans to hit back at her.

By itself, it's pretty rude (just look at that emoji!). In the context of it being sent by a member of 1D, it's disastrous.

London received a barrage of hateful comments by tiny humans not old enough to drive, let alone use Twitter legally (which is 13, by the way).

Some have labelled her "terrible", a "b***h" and have even sent her death threats.

Since then, London has decided to quit social media for a while until the fan abuse dies down. That's fair.

Tomlinson has yet to apologise or rein in his army of online attack dogs.
