Let's Go Kweens: "Broad City" S5 Returns to Foxtel on 25 January

Broad City's final season will be heading to our screens this month.

It's been a hot minute (and by minute, we mean 488 days but who's counting?) since a fresh season of Broad City hit our screens. Thankfully, we only have to wait a further 11 days because the fifth and last season of the show is about to take over our weekends again from 25 January.

Abbi Jacobson (who plays Abbi, duh) told New York Times that the final season will see her character date a woman. She explained that she wanted her real-life sexuality to be represented in the show.

"Abbi's not the fumbling idiot we're used to seeing, trying to ask someone out," Abbi said.

"It feels more real.

"Now that it's over, I feel so free and proud to be like, that is us. It's not completely, exactly us, but it's us."

Luckily for us, we'll get to see as soon as our U.S. counterparts get to. *Mouths* Yaas, kween.

The final season of Broad City will premiere on Foxtel's The Comedy Channel from Friday 25 January at 8.30pm (AEDT).
