"Broad City" Is Over, But Ilana and Abbi Might Be Back For Something Else

But we'll always remember the four R's: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rihanna.

Sadly, for all you Broad City fans out there, the show's creators and stars, Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson, have announced that Season Five will be the show's last.

The duo released a statement saying that while Broad City will always be their baby, they're ready to move on to new things.

"Broad City has been our baby and first love for almost 10 years since we started as a web series. It’s been a phenomenal experience, and we’ve put ourselves into it completely," the duo said in a joint statement.

"We are very excited to bring new voices and points of view to Comedy Central and continue our collaboration together in new ways."

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Glazer and Jacobson have signed a huge deal with Viacom (Comedy Central's parent company) to executive produce three new shows.

The first of which, Mall Town USA, will be an animated comedy about a 13-year-old trying to live her best life in the midst of puberty. The duo will also team up on Young Professionals, which will revolve around five housemates who work in Washington D.C.

Glazer will also work on Platinum Status, which is said to be based on her in-show and real-life brother, Eliot, and his experiences as a gay man after a bad breakup.

So, hold back those dramatic tears, this is certainly not the last time we'll see the adventures of Abbi and Ilana.
