LeBron James Is Getting Closer To Making "Space Jam 2" A Thing

Acting up-and-comer LeBron James, discovered for Amy Schumer's Trainwreck, is closer to scoring the lead in Space Jam 2, which is most likely going to be a thing.

According to the Wall Street Journal - an outlet that is weirdly working the Space Jam 2 beat hard - LeBron's production company SpringHill Entertainment has officially partnered up with Warner Bros; the very studio who just last month filed new trademarks on Space Jam.

The basketball great has made no secret of his desire to follow in Michael Jordan's footsteps and take over the SJ franchise.

The 1996 original - for those who haven't seen it and thus are not living rich, full lives - saw Jordan team up with the Looney Tunes for an intergalactic basketball game upon which the fate of the galaxy rested.

Bill Murray was also in it. Was it a perfect piece of cinema? I'll leave that for you to decide, dear reader.

In the meantime, you'll be able to see LeBron's acting chops opposite Amy Schumer when Trainwreck hits Aussie cinemas early next month.

I don't think this is the last we'll hear of young, hungry actor LeBron James.
