Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love" Interrupted a Coronavirus Meeting in Italy

Someone's phone started playing the bop.

Coronavirus panic has swept the globe, with U.S. lawmakers reaching a deal on a $US8.3 billion emergency coronvirus bill earlier today. The virus has spread to more than 78 countries, infecting around 95,100 people.

It has sparked immense fear across the world, with Aussies scrambling to stock up on essentials like toilet paper. Woolworths has even been forced to limit the amount of rolls customers can purchase.

Italy, one of the most impacted countries, has closed schools and universities as the death toll rises to 107. Given the worsening situation, a council meeting was held in the country to update citizens about the spread of COVID-19, and how they can prevent themselves from catching the disease.

However, about 22 minutes into the meeting, the intro to Lady Gaga's "Stupid Love" started blasting out of someone's phone. The shocked council members went silent for a moment, until the culprit quickly turned off the tune.

Watch the glorious scene unfold for yourself.

Have you ever seen anything so pure?

Naturally, Gaga saw the hilarious video after it went viral and shared it on Twitter overnight.

In these trying times, it's nice to witness such an authentic and amusing moment.
