Lady Gaga and Lisa Kudrow Performed "Smelly Cat" on the "Friends" Reunion and It Slapped

I'm just waiting for it to hit No.1 on the charts.

Yesterday, Friends fans finally got the chance to watch the highly-anticipated unscripted reunion special, featuring main cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry.

The reunion special saw the cast come together to discuss their favourite moments from the show, which spanned ten seasons.

Let's just say, it had us feeling all the feels.

The nostalgic reunion was made even more emotional by the fact that it was filmed on the iconic comedy's original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank.

There were a whole heap of moments that got viewers talking, including Aniston and Schwimmer admitting they both had a massive crush on each other while filming the sitcom.

(Side note: earlier this week it was also confirmed that Perry and Cox are distant cousins. Yeah, awkward.)

However, the moment from the reunion that really grabbed our attention was guest star Lady Gaga and Kudrow teaming up to belt out "Smelly Cat".

If you need a quick reminder, Kudrow first sang "Smelly Cat" on the second season of Friends, and it became one of the show's most memorable moments.

Not only did Gaga look more like Kudrow's character Phoebe Buffay than Kudrow herself, but she totally elevated the reunion with her magnificent vocal cords.

Honestly, if their rendition of the tune doesn't hit No.1 on every worldwide music chart, I'll lose what little faith in humanity I have left.

Gaga even managed to draw inspiration from A Star Is Born for the performance. At this stage, I'm seriously questioning why an invitation wasn't extended to Bradley Cooper to perform alongside the duo.

Someone make it happen.

At the end of the cover, Gaga thanked Kudrow for "being the person for all of us on Friends that was the different one, or the one that was really herself."

Although, it's not the first time that Kudrow has joined forces with a pop superstar to sing "Smelly Cat". In 2015, the actress jumped on stage with Taylor Swift to belt it out during Swift's concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

All I'm going to say: Gaga better add it to her setlist for The Chromatica Ball.
