Kylie Jenner Unveils "King Kylie Kollection", Maybe Not Realising What KKK Usually Stands For

Oh Kylie.

Kylie Jenner's new nail polish line has gone on sale at Walmart in the US, carrying a wildly unfortunate name: King Kylie Kollection.

Yes, that’s one K, followed by another K, with a third and final K not far behind. KKK.

Again, not to spell it out entirely, but the KKK is also the abbreviated name of the Ku Klux Klan, an extremist right-wing organisation that believes in white supremacy and has historically been responsible for horrific violence against black men and women, among other non-white groups.

So, yeah, not a great call by Ms. Jenner.

The announcement of her Sinful Colors line – again, pretty unfortunate in retrospect – has at least overshadowed King Kylie’s last public relations nightmare, in which Kylie Minogue took legal action against the 18-year-old for attempting to copyright the name ‘Kylie’.

It was followed by a delicious subtweet.

The world waits with bated breath for Kylie Jenner's brother-in-law, Kanye West, to Tweet in response to all of this.
