Kick Ass Torrents Has Just Gotten Its Butt Kicked By the Aus Government

Ahoy me hearties, another torrenting site in the bin.
Kick Ass Torrents is the latest piracy site to be targeted by the Federal Government after a Federal Court ruling on Friday gave internet service providers 15 days to block their customers from accessing the site.
Some big music label representatives for Justin Bieber and AC/DC were in attendance and successfully argued that the site was infringing on their copyrighted property.
Kick Ass Torrents becomes the latest addition to the mass grave of other piracy sites that have been relinquished from Australia's not-so-wide web. It joins Pirate Bay, Torrentz and IsoHunt.
Not that you were using them anyway, ahem, right?

Kick Ass Torrents was banned a few years ago in the U.K., but punters can still access the site through seven different working domains.
