Kanye Is Being Sued By Someone Who Didn't Want To Join Tidal To Hear "The Life Of Pablo" (But Did Anyway)

It’s a bad day for Kanye. A bad ye, if you will.
According to Vulture, a San Francisco man is filing a class-action lawsuit against West and Tidal for telling people his latest album, The Life of Pablo, would be a Tidal exclusive, allegedly fooling them into signing up for the streaming service. (We guess they didn't take advantage of the free trial.) Earlier this month, TLOP became available on a range of rival streaming services, including Apple Music. The album is now also being sold on Yeezy’s website. Justin Baker-Rhett’s lawsuit says that if he’d known TLOP would eventually be available outside of Tidal, he would have never handed over his credit card information. Though Baker-Rhett says Tidal made as much as $84 million in recent months, his primary demand is for the company to delete the personal information of those who subscribed for the sake of TLOP. In other news, it has been revealed that North West flushed an iPhone containing hours of Pablo raps while the album was still being written ; a stinging critique of Yeezy’s early attempts at the long-delayed record. No legal action has yet been taken by Kanye against his child. Photo: NBC.Topics
