Deathwatch The Throne: Kanye And Jay Z Are Feuding Now Too

We hate to break it to you kiddo, but daddy and daddy are fighting.

Kanye West has told concert attendees not to expect a sequel to Watch the Throne, his 2011 collaboration with Jay Z, because of a bubbling feud between the two hip-hop titans.

What has caused the schism between the long-time friends? Tidal and the lack of play dates between their children, obvs.

See, earlier this year, West and Jay popped up on Drake’s “Pop Style” as “The Throne”. Jay was rightfully mocked for his two-sentence verse, and by the time Drake’s album arrived (as an Apple exclusive), both guests had been removed from the song in question.

Now, West has offered an explanation: “I wasn’t on the song because of Hov; because of this Tidal/Apple bull****.”

Performing the song sent West into a reflective reverie, during which he shared that their respective children, Blue Ivy Carter and North West had “never even played together”.

Turns out the fury might be reciprocated, with Jay’s Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareeem “Biggs” Burke telling Page Six that the two of them “miss the old Kanye”.

Another unnamed source told Page Six that Jay can’t “stand” Kanye.

Of all the feuds we’ve reported on this year, this one hurts the most.
