Kanye Called Taylor Swift "Fake ***" Behind The Scenes At "SNL" And, Oh No, There's Audio To Prove It

So, this whole Kanye thing is going to get worse before it gets better.

When word arose that Mr. West had endured something of a meltdown behind the scenes of Saturday Night Live – where he performed over the weekend, ahead of new album The Life of Pablo’s release – it all seemed perfectly probable, particularly to those who had been keeping an eye on his Twitter account of late.

However, audio from his outburst has now emerged, courtesy of Page Six, detailing what exactly was said during the tense moment where it seemed he wouldn’t play at all.

Reportedly outraged that the SNL staff had removed his “shiny stage floor” (because it was reflecting the stage lights in a way that distracted from the performance), Kanye told his team that he was “bummed.”

This was not the extent of it.

Citing both SNL’s uncaring floor-stripping “and Taylor Swift, fake ***” for his bummed-out state, West went on to chant, “Don’t **** with me.”

He also noted that he was 50 per cent more influential than Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, the Apostle Paul and Pablo Escobar.

In all honestly, it’s not that much different from what he’s been Tweeting all week.

Of course, Kanye would go on to perform at SNL and it went great.

A source close to West told ET (the entertainment magazine, not the alien) that the outburst wasn't conducted in the presence of SNL staff; rather, it “was secretly recorded while he was venting his frustration in a private moment with his team.”

"Kanye was seen hugging [SNL creator] Lorne Michaels just before the goodnights, and he stayed afterwards to chat with the staff and the cast, and thanked the producers on his way out the door," the source added.

Kanye shared the following Tweet this morning, perhaps in response to the SNL incident but more likely something else entirely:

There you have it. Here's a reminder that The Life of Pablo is 5/5 brilliant and that continually defending Kanye West is a very difficult and trying task.
