Turns Out Jennifer Lopez Is Why We Have Google Images

For too long, Jennifer Lopez’s has gone unrecognised for her contributions to this century’s biggest tech developments.
Google’s Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt has revealed in a blog post it’s because of J-Lo that Google Image Search is even a thing.
What inspired the innovation for the search giant was her infamous Versace dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards.
He explains:
“At the time, it was the most popular search query we had ever seen. But we had no surefire way of getting users exactly what they wanted: J. Lo wearing that dress. Google Image Search was born.”
Here’s what he’s talking about, by the way.
Fifteen years later, a right has been wronged. Let Ms. Lopez no longer be excluded from the annals of tech history.
